Maths Progression Document
This document (link seen above) shows how the White Rose curriculum we use here at St. Johns links to the Key Stage 1 and 2 National Curriculum and how it progresses through topics.
In the four major Maths topic areas:
1) Number,
2) Measurement,
3)Geometry and
4) Statistics)
the curriculum is broken down into key areas.
For each of these key areas you will see which National Curriculum objectives are covered in that year along group along with the term and block in which that objective is met in our White Rose maths scheme.
You will be able to see how objectives progress and skills develop as you move along the Year groups 1-6.
