Planning and teaching RSHE at St John's
When teaching RSHE at St John's, staff will use the schemes "Life to the full" and "I-Matter" to inform and deliver lessons to children from Y1 - Y6.
In keeping with our Catholic ethos, staff will use the Life to the full scheme to inform their teaching and planning in line with Catholic teaching and values outlined and endorsed by the Salford diocese. Parents can view the lesson content and concepts via a Parent Portal.
The Parent Portal allows parents to explore teaching materials and methodology in order to understand the Catholic stance and teaching of RSHE. There are also some tips and advice for developing this Catholic teaching at home.
