OPAL PLAY

We are thrilled to be launching OPAL as a brand‑new initiative for 2026, a transformation of our outdoor play provision made possible through the generous support and vision of our wonderful PTA. This exciting development marks a significant step in our commitment to giving children richer, happier and more imaginative play experiences every single day. OPAL will allow our pupils to explore, create and collaborate using a wide range of natural and man‑made resources, encouraging them to develop independence, curiosity and confidence as they play in new, inspiring ways.

This initiative beautifully reflects our school values in action: love, shown through the care and connection children build with one another;

kindness, seen in shared play, helping hands and inclusive games;

joy, found in discovery, adventure and the freedom to play creatively;

resilience, strengthened as children take on challenges, manage risks and try again;

respect, demonstrated in the way they look after equipment, nature and each other.

With OPAL, we look forward to creating playtimes filled with imagination, laughter, problem‑solving and meaningful relationships—an outdoor childhood that nurtures the whole child. We cannot wait to begin this journey and give our children the joyful outdoor memories!
